TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD MINIS

2015 - 2016

This fun collection of minis was created showing actual places I have traveled, as well as a few items on my wish list! Taking more of a realistic approach, my style is still very visible in these textural, free compositions. Colors were of major importance here. Instead of a literal translation of many of these places, the experiential aspects were painted — the colors, smells, feeling, light, and composition which are so unique to each location. Places always have their own soul and story!
